ODDISEA
Embrace your mermalien roots and step into ODDISEA—a high-impact, interactive giant-puppet procession that transforms public space into a living stage. Inspired by the sea and an alien cosmology of light, ODDISEA calls us together to celebrate life, reconnect with the elements, and honor the ancestors who bridge the ocean and stars. Guided by the irresistible rhythms of the Chunky Hustle Brass Band, audiences of all ages are invited to dance, roam, and become part of this unforgettable, larger-than-life spectacle.
ODDISEA is designed to adapt to your event. We can adjust the size and number of giant puppets, tailor the length of the procession, and scale the brass band’s sound and ensemble to create the perfect fit for your space.
TransMythical
Transmythical is a sacred and celebratory procession of magic, imagination and inclusivity. This 50-minute procession is led by stilt walking mythological creatures, giant puppets, masked characters, ground puppets, and scored by a live DJ.
Part ceremony, part celebration, Transmythical invites the audience to participate in the procession, interacting with creatures along the way, and engaging in a dance party finale as one. Previously performed at the La Jolla Playhouse Without Walls Festival 2022, the Skirball Cultural Center's World Day of Puppetry Festival 2023, and in collaboration with Little Amal and the San Diego Symphony at the Rady Shell at Jacobs Park 2023.
Gnomesense
Gnomesense invites everyone to play, be absurd, and lose themselves in a garden of alt/earthly delights. The non-linear, non-serious, unbelievable world of the imagination is all but lost until one looks up and sees a giant Clown-er-pillar smiling down upon them. I dare say, we are inviting you, YES YOU, to stop and smell the flowers…
This is an audience participatory happening, a meta- impromptu dance party and singalong led by a group of benevolent, albeit anarchic, mystical garden beings!! Gnomesense has been featured at the La Jolla Playhouse’s Without Walls Festival, Lightning in a Bottle Festival, Lucidity Festival Santa Barbara and Desert Hearts. Gnomesense is 8-20 performers parading with Giant Puppets and a band, stiltwalkers, musicians, dancers, jugglers and puppeteers.
